Sweet cousins!

We enjoyed spending time with precious Parker the last few days. Laney really loved having her cousin around to do fun things with and best of all she even got to spend the night with us.

Bath time together. (even Kipton joined the fun)

Fun at the park.

Headed to the Rockhounds baseball game.

We are so grateful for the fun times we had with Parker.

Honesty of a 3 year old!

I have been teaching Laney a bible verse a week and also doing a little craft to go along with the verse. This week she learned,
Be thankful in all things. 1 Thes. 5:18. I asked her to tell me some things she is thankful for and this is what she said:

1) Being a Princess {she seriously thinks this is her other name. ha}

2) Jesus

3) Daddy

4) Daddy being home {in other words for his new job that puts him at home a tons more}

5) Being me

6) Being a girl

and last but not least

7) sisters. {she doesn't have a sister, so not too sure where this came from...maybe she is saying she is tankful for herself :)}

I thought her some of her answers were so sweet and others hilarious. I had no influence in any of these answers because of course MY name would have been up there..lol. But I really do love the honesty of my precious 3 year old! I wouldn't change her for the world.

Stovall/McLeod Wedding ♥ 07/16/11

My sister did it, she got married (not that I ever had any doubt that she would find the man of her dreams)! Her wedding was perfect, waaayy hot but it was so gorgeous! She was married by my hubby at the Belgium House Mansion in Longview, TX. It was so green and the Mansion was so beautiful, inside and out. I am so proud of the women my sister has become and so happy to have Jeremy in our lives now, he is going to be a wonderful husband for her and she will make a great wife. I wish them many wonderful years ahead and I am so happy that my family was apart of their big day!

See how gorgeous?!?!? Green, Green, Green, I loved it!!
Landon performing the wedding :)

My family!

And more family!

My precious little flower girl. This picture says it all, Laney stopped on the way down the aisle because the ring bearer behind her was pushing her, so she stopped and pouted (as you can tell in the picture), she was not going at a fast enough speed for him. But as soon as she stuck her lip out for about 30 seconds, threw her basket down, she decided she wasn't going to let him get to her so she picked up her basket and she kept on coming...thank goodness... we only practiced going down the aisle for months..lol!!!

Bridesmaids with my beautiful sis!

Love them!

Laney and the Ring Bearer, Evan, became great dancing buddies the rest of the afternoon!

Congrats Mr. And Mrs. McLeod! We love you both very much!

Laney turned "3"

Well I am a little (okay alot) behind on this post, but Laney turned the big "3" in May. She told me she wanted a tea party, then a month later (after I had bought all the decorations) told me she wanted a princess party, so we just made it a "Princess Tea Party". She had a great turnout with all her favorite people (minus a few that couldn't come). It was a very hot, hot, hot day but I don't think the heat bothered her one bit. Here are a few pictures that I got (none of them turned out great because my camera at the time was not a good one, but thanks to my husband for my birthday I now have a great camera)!!

Tea party with her friends (minus a few that showed up later)

The tea party treats

She had tons of gift to open... can you tell she was a little hot? poor girl!

A few of my great friends

The birthday girl with her friends!!

Thanks to all who shared this special day with our little Princess. And a big thanks to Landon for getting our back yard all ready for the big day (and of course I didn't get a picture of the yard all put together but there was some cute decorations hanging from the trees). Birthdays are alot of work.. so I am thinking next year should be something indoors and alot cooler :)
