Kipton turns "4"

Kipton Wayne, (Bro Bear)

I absolutley can not imagine my life without you. You bring so much joy, laughter, hugs and kisses. You love to make us laugh and you say the funniest things. Your dad and I say all the time that you will be the class clown for sure. Your personality is so funny, sweet and big :) You love your mommy :) So much that if anyone asks for kisses, you say only one because all the rest are my mommies. You even get mad if someone steals more than one because they belong to me :) (I don't ever want that to change..hehe). You love your sissy and daddy tons too. You want to play with your sissy all the time, even if  she is playing with babies or barbies. You love to help daddy in the garage too. Can't wait for yall to do projects together.

Although, you have your sweet and loving side, you are ALL boy!!!! I am talking dirt, toots, boogers, bugs, sticks, rocks, growls and roars. But I wouldn't have you any other way!!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much Kipton Wayne! We know you will do huge things in life.

Love,
Mom

Christmas Time (Part 2)

We ran home and packed our bags and headed to Baird for Christmas with my family. But first a family selfie of course...lol!
These poor babies were wore out. I think they made it through the first 15 minutes of Frozen and were out until we arrived in Baird. Nice and peaceful ride for us :)
When we arrived we had dinner, Santa made a delivery (every year he drops of jammies for everyone), then we opened presents :)
Oh how I adore these precious boys!
Cousin Jhett and Kipton!
LOVE this picture. She sure loves her daddy!!
Leave it to daddy and Kip to act silly :)
The guys made tee times the next day. So the girls went and got pedicures and did some shopping. And of course took some fun pics together!
Have I mentioned how lucky I am to have these two sisters?
Our Memaw and Papaw!!!
The life with sisters.. this picture will always be one of my favorites!
LOVE!
This year was especially special for our family. It has been years since my grandparents have had everyone together all at once. Usually we split up the time. My family these days, then my aunts family the other days. We just have such a large, growing family that there just isnt room. But this year my grandpa rented out the golf course club house in Clyde (where he works at part time for fun) and we had everyone there!! We had lunch, then played games. It was so fun and so very special for my grandparents.
Blessed!!
We headed back to Midland, washed clothes, put up Christmas presents and next up was Christmas with my dad!

I love family time and the hustle and bustle but I was soooooo happy we had an ice storm and were stuck in our pajamas by a cozy fire for four days after that!!! That is just what my soul needed to start off 2015... rest!! (We could have done without all the damaged trees though). We got used to sleeping in until 9 and 10.. and that is no joke.  This momma likes her sleep ;)
Family movie night!!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Many blessings to your family for 2015!!

Christmas Time!!! (Part 1)

We started the season off with lots of Christmas parties. First party up was a pizza shindig Laney had with her class! Then as soon as that party was over, we went straight to Kipton's school where they had lots of sweets. We were partied out and sugared up by the time it was all over, I'm pretty sure!
We have loved Laney's teacher this year. She has been such a blessing to us!!
Christmas party #2. These are Kipton's Best Buds at school, Dax and Hudsyn!!
Landon and I decided we would let the kids open presents a few days early this Christmas... 1) because I just can't keep surprises long at all and 2) we were going to have company at our house and just figured it would be easier this way. Fine by me and the kids of course. I do have a funny story about my little brother bear (Kipton). He opened up a present and the box was a blow dryer box (with a toy inside of it). He looked at Landon with a sad face, then looked at me and chunked the box across the room and went on to his next present. It was hilarious once we told him we didnt get him a blow dryer but that there was something else in the box. That was also a great time to explain to him, that even if you dont like a present you got, you still say thank you and be grateful. HA! Lesson learned....I hope!

Landon's brother and sister in law stayed with us for a week during Christmas, the kids loved staying up late and waking up early to see and play with their cousins :) Always a fun time to see them play together.
They were playing on the floor and it turned into the cutest picture!
We opened presents on Christmas eve with them and Landon helped the kids make birthday cupcakes for Jesus and also read to them about what the real meaning of Christmas is.

.

We woke up Christmas morning.... at 8:00. I just knew for sure all the kids would be up at the crack of dawn excited to see if Santa came, but we must have wore them out the night before. Merry Christmas to us ;)

And sure enough Santa did make a stop at the Hayes house :)
Scooters, helmets, a huge nerf gun and a RV for her American Doll! They must have been super good this year!
After checking out all the cool new Santa toys, Landon cooked some yummy faijitas while the rest of us got ready and we headed to his grandma's house for more fun with the family.
My sweet Christmas babies!
The kids with their Pops, minus Liam. He wasn't into the picture taking all week ;)
All the cousins!!
After our bellies were full and we were all getting tired, it was time to head to Baird for Christmas with my family. This post is getting long and I am running out of time, so be on the lookout for Part 2 Christmas post :)

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
