Disney World (Part 4) :)

Holy Moly.. these Disney World posts are taking longer than I expected. Looking through my pictures, we took a ton and I want to make sure and document it all so I can look back and reminisce. (Plus my memory is horrible and there is no way I would remember it all next month, much less years later.)

So hold tight, this one is going to be a loooooooong post!!!

Day 5 - Epcot   (By far my most favorite park and day on our vacation)
Our Photo Pass photographer had a little fun.
Grass sculpture of Goofy playing soccer :)
We once again had reservations for a character dining experience at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. So we got to bypass the long line of people waiting for the park to open and headed for breakfast.

Epcot is so cool. As you walk you come upon different countries. There are 11 different countries within the park. Mexico, had magaritas, and felt just like it would feel in Mexico. Italy had wine and was such a relaxing atmosphere. It was just so cool to see all the different countires and to experience a little bit of each.

So breakfast was in Norway. There were five princesses, and they all come up to your table to sign your autograph book and to take a picture. They all play their part so well and act and talk just like they do in the movies :)
Belle, we saw a lot of her during our trip :)

Majority of Epcot rides and attractions are technology based and also based on the future but they still had lots of things for the kids. Boat rides, Crush the turtle talk, shows and more.
This lil guy is a big crank if he doesnt get his nap. Luckily he was able to take naps in his stroller!
One of my favorite pics of our trip! Pluto was hilarious :)

After spending our morning at Epcot, we headed back over to Magic Kingdom. Laney had reservations at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella's castle. You have to make reservations to get into this place like 4-5 months before hand.. crazy! Laney has seen commercials and I was also told how amazing the experience was, so we had to check it out. Not gonna lie, it cost us an arm and leg, so we decided this would be Laney's birthday present. She asked us all week.. is today the day for Bibbidi Bobbidi. Sooo, the day had finally come. We walked in, they called her princess the whole time we were in there. They took her to this closet with all the princess dresses you could imagine and she could pick from any of them. She had been trying to decided all week which princess she was going to be and still hadn't made up her mind. Everytime we would meet a princess she wanted to be that one. And that morning since we ate breakfast with all the princesses, she was really confused..ha. She finally decided on Jasmine :) Which I was happy about.. it was one of the cooler outfits, and it was HOT.. once again!

After she was dressed in her Jasmine outift, she sat down and got her hair, nails and makeup done. She had a serious face the whole entire time.. haha.
Before picture!
Getting her nails painted by the fairy godmother.
Getting fairy dusted!
And After! My gorgeous lil Jasmine :) She was sparkled out. Glitter was everywhere :)

I had also made Kipton reservations to dress up as a knight, because I didn't want him to be left out!

He got cool confetti all in his hair.
After they were all dressed and felt like real princesses and knights, we headed across the way and Laney had a photo shoot.... hehe.  The way she was posing her hands were cracking Landon and I up. She had been paying way to close of attention with how princesses carry themselves :)

Here are just a few shots out of the 40 (no kidding) that were taken. And brother even got to join in on the last picture!

Whew.. that was done and we saw that Jasmine was going to be out signing autographs in 3o minutes. She we hauled tail over there! Jasmine loved how my lil Jasmine looked, so Laney felt pretty stinking special!

*Side note* Laney is sooo picky about her clothes. She has to wear an undershirt with 80% of her clothes. If it itches, has a different feel to the matierial, has a seam.. she freaks. So this outfit lasted a whole hour..haha. So back in her other clothes she went. At least her hair and makeup still were pretty!

After that fun, we headed back to Epcot. We could see that a storm was a brewing, so we hauled tail to Mexico and found a table on the patio at this mexican restaurant. Ate dinner in Mexico, had a yummy pomegrante Margarita and it started pouring!!!! I have to say this was the most relaxing moment I had all week :) Our table was on the edge up against a rail overseeing the gorgeous lake. Well, the rain started coming down sideways so we started to get wet..haha. The kids were in a good spot, but Landon and I pretty much ate standing up. But I can still say it was sooo relaxing! We waited about an hour and the storm had passed and we went on to explore the other countries. From there on out the weather was perfect! I wish it had rained all week. The humidty the previous days just about killed us.

We stumbled across Snow White making her appearance.

We stopped in Italy, had a glass of wine and watched a band play some Eagles songs. That just about put both kids to sleep..haha.

I can't remember which country this one was..but we liked the buildings.
Epcot at night!

Epcot is known for an awesome firework show over the lake. We tried making it but were just pooped. My knee was going crazy. I felt like I had arthritis or something and pretty much limped the last few hours. I am guessing it was just from the rain because I haven't had any other problems with it since. We watched the fireworks behind us as we were leaving the park, so didn't get the full effect.

Disney World (Part 3) :)

Day 4 of Disney World in pictures! We were back at Magic Kingdom, this makes the second time. This seems to be the biggest park with tons of things to do and see. Defintley not a park that you can just spend one day at.

We started off the day with our reservations for our character dining breakfast.

Waiting for our table :) Thanks photographer Laney :)

Tigger. Kipton thought he would sit this picture out. Tigger was a little too big.. lol.

Lil Piglet was alright though ;)

Honestly I am not the biggest fan of Winnie the Pooh but Eyore is pretty cool!

Next up with rode some rides!

Aladdin's carpet :)
Storytime with Belle! Laney and Kipton both got to play a part in a surprise party we were throwing for Belle. Laney was Mrs. Potts the teapot and Kipton was Chip the lil son. It was pretty funny to watch them. I don't think Kipton cracked a smile the whole time. He was clueless. But after storytime was over, he said mom I hugged Belle but I didn't give her kisses..lol. Laney of course loved it and played her part well ;)

We had lunch in Belle's castle called "Be our guest". It was gorgeous! And the food was wonderful also. They delivered our food in these awesome rolling carts just like in the movies.. you can kinda see them in this picture. We ordered our food at the front on a touch screen terminal, then went and found a table. We had to stop a waitress and ask how they know where to deliver our lunch because we didn't get a number, pager, give our name or anything. She said it's magic. Sure enough our food magically appeared. And this building was huge was a ton of tables. Landon and I spend most of lunch trying to figure out how they knew what we ordered and where we sat..ha :)

Next up we meet Elsa and Anna! Laney's dream come true! She has been on a frozen kick.. just like every other little girl in the world. Elsa and Anna are the newest characters at Disney World.. so that means every one wants to see them, meet them and take pics with them. Our travel agent, Jennifer, stayed up until midnight one night just so she could get Laney in to see them using our fast pass, the first night available for us to sign up. Luckily we got in.. I was so appreciative. The lines to see them the whole week we were there were crazy.. we are talking 1.5 hours - 3 hours. Crazy! We walked right up, swiped our fast pass and waiting seriously 5 minutes. Best use of our Fast Pass the whole trip and I give it all up to Jennifer, like I said she is amazing!!!!!

Sleeping Beauty was in the same room, so we also got to see her :) Kipton really liked her..lol.

At this point.. we were pooped. Our legs hurt, we were super tired and super duper hot. We decided we would call it a day early. We headed back to the resort, hung out by the pool and ate a low key dinner at the resort.
Headed to the pool and Laney says Mom.. take a picture of me by these pink flowers.. lil Diva!

On the boat after out lil swim and look at these curls! Humidty + pool hair + wavey hair= curls
Well, that sums up our fourth day. At this point I am thinking.. can I just have a day to sleep.. like all day?!?! Ha :) But no way the kids would allow that! Too much to see and do.

Father's Day!

"Any man can be a Father but it takes someone special to be a dad." -- Anne Geddes

"A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty." -- Unknown

"The most important thing a father can do for his children is love their mother." --Theodore M. Hesburgh

I truly am blessed to call this man hubby and daddy of my kiddos! I could not have asked God for a better soul mate! We are so thankful for all that he has done and continues to do for our family!

Landon Wayne I can truly say that you are the best.dad.ever to our kids and best hubby to me :)

We love you more than you will ever know!

Disney World (Part 2) :)

Day 3 of our family vacation in Florida: (warning..picture overload..once again)

We woke pretty early and headed to our character dining reservations at Animal Kingdom. For those of you that plan on going someday.. the trick is to make reservations first thing when the park opens (usually at 9) because you check in for your reservations at the front gate and they let you in the park before anyone else... so no standing in line with the other hundereds of people :)

Our character dining was with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and Daisy! We were a little unsure how Kipton would do with all the characters. He only likes Santa, the Easter Bunny and any other character from a distance. This was his first time to see a character up close and personal at Disney World and he did as expected. He ran into his dad's lap and said hold me.. haha. They all came up to our table and signed the kids autograph book and took pics with the kids. Of course one of us had to hop in the pic with Kip ;) He did warm up enough to give high fives but a hug was out of the question..lol!

Next up on the agenda was a safari. (By the way, we had a travel agent book everything for us, she booked our resort, airfare, fast passes, dining reservations.. everything. We went by an agenda she printed off for us. It was super easy to change as we were there and worked out perfectly.. didnt stress a single time). This safari was super cool. We hopped on an actual safari truck and saw many animals.

We also elected to add the Disney experience photo pass memory maker. There were photographers all over the parks and they snap cool shots and scan your bracelet and your pictures automattically upload on your Disney website. I recommend this feature :)

Check out that crazy tree!
We saw a live Nemo show!! And enjoyed the nice airconditioned building.. did I mention is was sooo humid and hot :)

We used a fast pass to meet Mickey and Minnie and get a memory maker picture! And holy moly we had a breakthorough.... Kipton actually leaned and and gave them both hugs! From this moment on he was all about pictures by himself (well with sister) and hugs :)

We checked out DInosaur land that was inside of Animal Kingdom. Kipton especially loved this! Dinosoar rides and even a dinosaur play area. The kids managed to find a cave that had water, so they cooled off :)

We headed back to Magic Kingdom by tram and ate dinner, then camped out to watch the electrical parade and the most amazing firework show on the castle.

Exhausted to say the least! But such an amazing day!!
