Just wanted to document and share our newest family pictures taken by the fabulous Kaylea Gaines Photography. She is so fun and easy going and works so well with kids. I would say she captured some great shots in the 30 minutes we had.
~Kingston was clapping and saying yay the whole time.. haha.... made for some precious pics still~

Halloween Festivities

We had a busy Halloween weekend. Friday night, Kingston's daycare had a trunk or treat. It was fun to see all his teachers dressed up and all the cute trunks they decorated. The kids got ton of candy and loved seeing old friends.

{Warning.. picture overload}
Laney our peacock, Kipton our ninja and Kingston our baby bat

Saturday night a church in town had a big Night of Life Halloween event. Cake walks, jumpers, games, food trucks and a trunk or treat. We had a fun time together and Nanny even won a cake ;)

Sweetest and cutest bat I have ever seen!!
We love our Nanny and Papa!
Cake Walk

The kids got dressed for the third time on Halloween night (I don't think they minded) and we headed over to my friend, Beth's house for taco soup and trick or treating down L street. This has been a favorite of ours for the past few years. The houses on L street are so fun. One house has a movie and popcorn machine up, another house has an old car with the trunk full of candy. We had a fun evening but have to admit I was ready to wrap up Halloween... getting three kids in costumes three different times was exhausting, not to mention keeping up with them the whole night.

We ended the night by stopping by Nanny and Papa's for a special treat.

That wraps up another Halloween! Fun but exhausting. Not to mention.. 80-90 degree weather in October. crazy!!!

It's here again...School begins!

We had a great summer and wrapped it up with a few fun things. The kids had the week off before school started, so we took advantage and went to the movies and saw Pete's Dragon (it is a must see), shopped for new shoes, got some cool haircuts, played in sprinklers and of course made a lemonade stand.

Landon helped the kids make this cool lemonade sign. He is the best daddy!
Sprinkler Fun!
BIG BOY haircut! He was ready for meet the teacher.

Laney and Kipton were both so ready and excited for school to start.

~Laney started 3rd grade making this her second year at Carver Center. We absolutely love it there. She had a wonderful first day of school yesterday and was so happy she got to see her friends.

~Kipton started Kindergarten at Washington Math/Science Institute (which is one block away from Laney's school). Score!!! He also had a great day and was so excited to go back today. He knew a few kiddos from his pre-school, so that made it fun for him.

Here is our first day of school pics. I may or may not have cried yesterday when I dropped them off ;(

And a little flash back! I don't know why I do this to myself.

Here goes another school year full of fun filled memories.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to add a picture of this cute little chunk who just happened to have a half birthday! (Little behind on this one, he will be 7 months in a few days).
-He is sitting up on his own
-Waves and says "hi"
-Says "Momma" all the time and has said "Dada" a few times
-He learned this new way to express himself... a lovely HIGH pitched squeal. It will get everyone in a restaurant's attention. Yikes!!!!
-He loves baby food, everything except peas (can you blame him)
-He rolls all over the place. We call him roly poly.
-He has lots and lots of rolls!!! Makes for extra time in the bath to clean all of them. haha
We love our little Kingston!
Great Wolf Lodge
Fourth of July weekend we packed up and headed to Great Wolf Lodge. We planned the trip with Tanner and Jodi and the kiddos. We love our time with them, and since moving to Austin we don't get to see them near enough, so this time was definitely needed.
The kids were so pumped and could hardly wait to get to play with their cousins.
I really wish we could have visited more. Great Wolf is crazy packed, so it seemed we chased kids all weekend. Next trip will have to be at a beach house or somewhere with less people so we can just visit and watch the kids run and play around. The kids had a blast with the water slides, pools, arcades, games and shopping.
My LOVES (and little wolves) in one picture!
Sweet cousin Parker!
Sweet cousin Liam!
Best I could get with a fussy, sleepy Kingston. lol!
Pretty girls with pretty tans!
Landon and Tanner had fun on the ropes course!
Poor Kingston came down with a fever two days before we left for our trip. He had an ear infection and raspy lungs. The doctor said he would be good to leave out of town, we were just instructed to do breathing treatments three times a day.
Well, let's just say traveling with a baby is hard, but traveling with a baby with an ear infection is even worse. He was great on the car ride, but was pretty fussy all weekend and super sleepy. He lasted a good two hours in the water the first day but was done with it the second day. He had a few rough nights and go figure the day we arrive back home, he was as happy as can be. I am so glad he started feeling better because that was a little tough.
But these kiddos had the times of their lives, so it made it all worth it.
There are lots of birthday's in the month of July for our family, so we got to celebrate Tanner, Parker and Liam on this trip.
So glad we had a weekend to sneak away and can't wait for the next trip with a happy, healthy baby :)
Tyler Trip!
We loaded up and headed to Tyler on Father's Day weekend to celebrate my new niece, Josie, that will make her appearance very soon. (4 days to be exact, we will get to share a birthday) :)
My mom and I threw my sister, Chelsea, a baby sprinkle. She had already had another shower, so this one was mainly for family. We had an ice cream bar with all the fixings and had it at my sister's house that they just had built. It was gorgeous and I was so excited to see it all fixed up.
Getting SO excited to meet this precious one!
Sisters are a girls best friend!! Don't know what I would do without them!
Fun thing about my their new house is all the land and cattle! We had so much fun riding around looking at the gorgeous scenery, feeding the cows and relaxing.
I was also able to talk my sis into taking a few pics of our family on her land ;) Love the way they turned out and love even more that I didn't have to stress over picture taking because they were free. lol!
This old barn was so cool!!
We had a great weekend in Tyler and are looking forward to going back soon to meet the precious little Josie Earlene!
