Laney turns 9!

Our sweet baby girl turned 9 a few months back... (trying to play catch up here). 💕

This year Laney wanted a paint party, and luckily my friend Kate was available to come over and do a canvas paint party.  Kate did an amazing job helping all these wild and hyper girls that were hyped up on donuts, cake and sugar. ~Check her out on Facebook at Paint'N'Party. She brought all the supplies and set it all up. This was the easiest party and I am pretty sure fun was had by all!

We had a great time celebrating and so thankful for all those who came to join in on the fun.

Laney Belle we love you big time and are thankful for you daily. You have the sweetest heart and are always helping and thinking of others. We love you sweet girl! Thanks for being YOU ❤

End of school year

We ended the 2016-2017 school year with a bang and just barely survived the craziness. The last week of school was filled with field days, school parties, award ceremony's, programs and a birthday to top all of that. This was our first year juggling both kids in school and luckily all the activities were on different days, so Landon and I were able to make it all.

We started off by attending the sweetest Kinder program for Kipton. He had practiced songs for months and was so excited for us to watch. He was stinking adorable with his dance moves. He had us rolling.

Next up on the agenda for the busy week was field day!!  They both had a great time and it was fun for us to watch ;)

Both kids had end of the school year award ceremony's. Laney received an award for "Outstanding Work in 3rd grade Math". This was a special award because her math teacher only picked two students out of all four classes. She has loved her math teacher this year and really loves math just like her dad. Great job Laney Belle!!

Kipton also had a great ceremony. He received a "Math Master" award. In order to receive this award you had to finish a timed math test and not get any problems wrong. Good thing he also took after his dad on this one. He also received perfect attendance. And the most important award in our eyes, was the "Perfectly Polite" award. His teacher picked one girl and boy girl for the whole year. She said that he is always the first to say thank you, please, yes maam, no maam and is always helping her without her even having to ask. I have to admit I might have cried when he got this one. Sometimes being a parent, you aren't sure if you are doing things right and these moments give you a little reassurance.

Well that's a wrap to 3rd grade and Kinder! So proud of my babies and look forward to another great year!

Weekend trip to Tyler!

Last weekend we took the kids out of school early Thursday and headed to Tyler to visit my sister. She is making the flowers for my sister's wedding, so we all went down to help with decorations.

It is hard to get all three sisters and mom in the same place for a whole weekend, so we took advantage. We had a fun weekend of wedding shopping at Canton trade days, the dad's took the kids fishing, and we all went to a Pasture party that we were invited to from our work.

Who knows?!? LOL
Of course.. selfies, smoothies and shopping!!!

A few pics that Landon captured of the kiddos fishing. All three kiddos caught several fish.

We drove out into the pasture that Chelsea and Jeremy have and shot skeet. Laney even joined in and was able to shoot Landon's shot gun for the first time. I was way more nervous than she was, but she did great and it didn't scare her a bit.

Precious Mommy's Boy!

Saturday night, we headed to a pig farm just 20 miles from Chelsea and Jeremy's house for a pasture party. We had such a great time! The kids were able to chase around and feed goats, pigs and chickens, roasted marshmallows, danced and played on the playground for hours.

Legacy Royalties put this party on and invited my mom and her family. It was just gorgeous. Amazing BBQ, free beer and wine, a DJ and tons for the kids to do.

The kids were not happy to take this pic, they wanted to play! Mean Mommy!

We are always sad leaving Tyler, but we are so blessed to get this time together! Until next time...

Spring Break Fun

This year for Spring Break we packed up and headed to Corpus Christi. We stayed in a townhouse in North Padre. It was a fully furnished, three bedroom town home that had a kitchen and washer and dryer. It was the cutest place and we were so pleased.

The kids had a room upstairs with bunk beds, they were SO excited!

The first day started out rainy, so we loaded up and headed to the Aquarium. Luckily it turned out to be a gorgeous day. No wind, no sun, but just the perfect temperature.

Sharks!
Feeding the Sting Rays!

Dolphins :)
Happy Boy!!!

Watching the dolphin show.
MY BOYS!

The USS Lexington was a block away, so we walked over to take a tour. This was so neat. So many things for the kids to get on, walk on and take pictures on. The boys especially loved this ;)

Now it was time for BEACH fun. (Let me add.. the only time we got to play on the beach.. Boo, for the weather that didn't cooperate).

The big kids played in the water, even though it was freezing and had the best time. Kingston liked the sand the best. He was not happy when the cold water splashed his leg but he enjoyed digging in the sand and even tried eating it a few times. lol.

Our babies :)
My water babies for sure!
First timer at the beach!!

His favorite part.. the sand.
The next few days, it was rainy and cold!! We drove to Port Aransas, ate at some fun yummy restaurants, went and did some outlet shopping and took the kids to an indoor trampoline park.

When we headed out, we stopped through San Antonio and took the kids to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch (a drive thru zoo). We fed deer, a Longhorn, an ostrich and got to see lots of cool animals.

We had a great time away even though the weather didn't fully cooperate. We are hoping to go back this summer and crossing our fingers for no rain and no storms!

Kiposaurus & Kingceratops

We celebrated our Kiposaurus turning "6" and our Kingceratops turning "1" dinosaur style last month. We had the party at Kelview Baptist Church, lots of room to run and play and best part is they clean up for you afterwards. *win win*

Now here come lots of pics of the boys birthday party fun!
Sweet Birthday Boys!

Hayes guys!

This birthday boy dug right into his cake. He loved it and didn't even notice everyone standing around staring at him ;)

Kipton had the party to himself for presents. Kingston was asleep and slept through the second half of the party. Sugar coma possibly. LOL

We appreciate everyone who came and celebrated our little guys! We had a great time and hope you did too!
