Our Christmas :)

Christmas has come and gone once again!!

We had a great Christmas celebrating Jesus' birth and also spending lots of time with our family.

We celebrated with the Hayes' a few weeks before Christmas. The kiddos always have such a fun time with their cousins. Landon fixed a yummy fajita dinner and the kids opened their presents for each other.

Christmas Eve the kids decorated their cookies for Santa, this has become a fun tradition for them.

Santa's cookies and milk!!

We had Landon's dad, grandmother and Aunt Paula come over that evening for a yummy dinner. We had a great time visiting and we were so glad they could stop by for the evening.

Christmas morning the kids opened presents from Santa (glad they were on his good list) and also opened the presents from Landon and I. We cooked a yummy breakfast and had Nanny and Papa over, then headed to Baird to have Christmas with my family.

Santa always drops of pajamas at my Memaw's house. He has done this since I was a little girl and something that I want to always do with my kids and hopefully pass on to their kids. The kids love getting their pajamas every Christmas!

Laney helping Memaw with dinner!

And no trip is complete without helping Papaw pick pecans :)

We had to leave a day sooner than planned to get home before Goliath, the blizzard hit. And boy did it hit us hard!! Lots and lots of snow! Midland got 7.5 inches and the kids have loved every bit of it. They played in the snow with cousin Jhetty, Landon took them sledding and I of course stayed inside watching from the window ;)

We had lots of fun with Jhett and we are so sad to see them leave. But we will see them in a week, so I guess we can make do :)

Silly cousins!!!

We are so thankful for the time we had with our family and so blessed to have each of you!

Laney's Baptism!

Laney made the decision to follow Christ and told us she was ready to get Baptized. This was one of the proudest moments we have both had as parents thus far.

She has had a heart of gold since the moment she could speak. This little girl, is always so concerned with making sure her friends know all about God. She came home the first week of kindergarten telling us who we need to pray for because they didn't know God. She loves church and would go every day if she could.

Laney really wanted her dad to be the one to baptize her, and let me tell you... Landon has dreamt about this day ever since we knew we were pregnant, over 7 years ago. Such a special moment we will always cherish!!!

We are so thankful for family and friends that were able to attend this special day, and for family that weren't able to attend that were thinking of her.

Laney Capri, Mom and Dad are so very proud of you and can't wait to see the things you will do for the Lord!!

So Thankful!!

We have SO incredibly much to be thankful for this season and we were so glad to be able to spend time with our family to celebrate.

Thanksgiving weekend is always crazy for us but I wouldn't have it any other way. We had several rounds to make but we survived, had special time with family and ate tons of yummy food. This year I had even more reason to get seconds and eat four meals in one day :) Kingston was a happy, happy, full boy, ha!

This is one thing I am so Thankful for.. my family!! I love each and every one of them dearly and can't wait to get to love on another bundle soon (8 1/2 weeks left).

We are also so thankful for each of our family members. Too many to get a pic with all of them but I wanted too share a few pictures we captured.

POPS!
NANNY!
LOVE from Jhetty!!
Lots of love from Landon :)
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, now already on to Christmas!! Can you believe it?

Halloween!!

Can you believe Halloween has come and gone? We had such a fun evening with friends and family. Both kids picked out their costumes and were so excited to dress up.

Laney picked out a Hippie costume and Kipton picked out Captain America. Laney woke up and said I'm gonna be a Hipster... Peace, Love and No Army. Lol!! We worked on the Peace, Love and No war for awhile after that :) She cracked us up!

For the second year, we met at a friends house on "L" street, had taco soup and sweet treats, then headed down "L" street for trick or treating. This neighborhood is so much fun. They go ALL out!! One house had a photo booth set up and of course several houses give out full size candy bars.

SO blessed by each one of these girls!!
All the kiddos!!

We started trick or treating at 6, so we were finished just as it was getting dark. We showed up back at our house and had tons of kids. We were told last year in our neighborhood, we had 3,000 trick or treaters and I completely believe it. There were cars parked everywhere and kids all over the place. We had a few HUGE bags of candy, our friends brought over their BIG bags of candy and my mom brought over all hers. We let the kids hand out the candy and they LOVED that!!! Problem was our candy only lasted 30 minutes. I could not believe how much candy we gave out in that short amount of time. We will know for next year for sure!

We had a great time, and always have loved Halloween! We were so glad it was on a weekend this year!

Side Note:
The kids both had their school pictures done and I was so happy with them. Laney decided she would take her bow out before pictures because she is so over wearing them but I still love her pic :)

Where have my babies gone?!?!?
Pre-K

2nd grade

We are looking forward to a less busy November, now that soccer and t-ball are over (well almost, we still have one more soccer tournament).

October Fun!!

We have had such a fun and busy October.

I will have to recap some of our fun in pictures :)

We got to catch up with these cuties and their parents! We thought Mallory and Laney looked so cute in their MJ outfits. So fall-ish :) And of course the boys were oh so handsome (and little toots)! When Mason and Kipton get together they go into 150% boy mode. Lol!

Had to capture my little cuties after church one Sunday! They mean more to us than I could ever explain! They definitely have their moments though, ha!

We have been working on getting the house all updated (before baby #3 arrives in Feb), so this weekend we took a break and went to Fiddlesticks with our great friends. The weather was gorgeous and we had tons of fun. Fiddlesticks Farms has been a favorite of ours and we look forward to it every year.

Shooting apples with this cannon!!
Hayride to the Pumpkin patch!

Pumpkin painting party after Fiddlesticks ;)

On top of getting the house ready, we have been in full nursery planning mode. We have the fabric picked out for Kingston's bed and Landon's Nana is making it for us. We have several decorations bought and Landon is half way completed with his wood tile floors. I am now starting to see it all come together and I am so glad :)

23 weeks!!
I am 25 weeks pregnant now, and I cannot believe how fast time goes!!! It is getting harder to bend over to paint my toes and put my shoes on. I am having all kinds of aches and pains that I didn't have with the other two pregnancies. I keep telling myself it could be a lot worse. I know it will all be worth it when I get to hold and see this precious boy. I am going to enjoy every little and big kick and movement now and soak it all up while I can!!!

Happy October!!!

Fall Season!

School has begun and both kids started new schools this year.

Kipton started Pre-K and we decided to put him in Crestview Baptist Early Childhood Center. He has gone to the same daycare since he was little and they have a preschool program but we felt it was time for a change. He feels like this is a school, instead of a daycare, and has learned so much just in the month he has been there. They also teach him bible stories and I love that!!

He did great at Meet the teacher and was so ready to start.

He loved his first day! Loves his teachers and has already made two best friends, one being a girl named Charlea, that he talks about all day long :)

His favorite part of the day is nap time. My boy loves his sleep :)

Laney started second grade at Carver Center. She tested to get into this school in Kindergarten and was able to start this year. She was excited to meet new friends. We are so very proud of her accomplishments and know she will have a great year.

She was shy at meet the teacher and was so embarrassed I wanted to take her picture. After I took this picture, she said mom that was a fake smile so you could be done. ha!

Laney has met tons of new friends and loves all four of her teachers.

Here is just a little flashback. Kinder all the way to 2nd grade ;(

Since school started that means Fall season of Soccer and T-Ball has begun as well.

Our little soccer girl. We have been blessed with the same team for the past four years and have made so many great friends. We love our Saturdays watching Laney Belle play! GO Galaxy Girls!!

Look at that handsome Assistant Coach ;)
Family selfie.. lol
And we are back at T-Ball. We are on a new team for t-ball this year and so far have loved, loved the team and coach. Last year we had a little trouble with the coach and his language in front of the little boys. The coach we have this year prayed with the team before the game started. We loved that and so happy for the change! Go Muckdogs!!! (Kip has the cutest chant... Who let the Muckdogs out.. who who who who. But he does it in this very deep, deep manly voice). He is constantly cracking us up!

I say this every season but here comes a busy, busy season! So excited to be apart of the kids sports and love to see them love what they do!!

Tyler!

We made the long drive to Tyler last month for my nephew, Jhett's, big TWO year old birthday party. He is such a sweetheart and I am so glad we were able to be there to celebrate him.

His party was at a jump house in Tyler and the kids had a blast.

Jhett LOVES tractors!! Farm boy right here!
Love my Jhetty and I am pretty sure he loves his Aunt Cici!!!!!
No Tyler trip is complete without a tractor ride on Uncle Jeremy's ranch.
Jhett was giving free rides too!
Birthday cupcake for the Birthday boy!!

While the kids and I were having a blast in Tyler, Landon was at home putting down new floors. We left the house with old burbur carpet and came home to wood tile. He has put so much blood, sweat and tears into updating the house. The floors were actually one of the last projects we were going to tackle but this pregnancy nose coudn't take the smell of old carpet anymore.

So thankful for the hard work he has put into the house! It is coming along!!!
