Hair!!! Finally!

Yeah!!! Laney is finally getting some hair. It is about time (it only took two years to grow :)). Every night a bath time Laney wants her poopoo (Shampoo), Rope (Soap) and her Elmo (which is her toothbrush). She is actually really good at brushing her teeth. She moves her head but keeps her brush still, but it gets her teeth sparkling clean. This is defintley her most favorite time of day.. bath time!

Naked lil girl!

Not gonna lie.. this past week has been hard. Potty Training is tough!! I cleaned up mess after mess after mess. But I can't complain because I know that the more messes I clean the closer I have to be to being "diaper free"! I know that in time when she is ready she will decide to use the potty. But for now.... all she wants is her diaper off and to run around with no panties. She loves to run around naked. I will put a diaper and pants on her then walk around the corner to find her already naked. I guess the freedom she feels with nothing on is good. This stage will only last a little while so I am going to enjoy every minute of it. This week has been alot better and I am asking God for patience in this potty training stage. I do think that I will survive the "nakedness stage" because she is still the sweetest, most loving little girl that I could have ever asked for.

Valentines Day ♥

We had a wonderful Valentines Day! We went to church, went to visit the elderly at the nursing home here in Tahoka and sang songs to them, and then we headed to a Valentine Banquet that evening. Our day was busy but we still made time to spend together. We let Laney open up gifts right after church and she thought she was pretty special.


We managed to get a family picture after church in our Valentine outfits.


She wasn't to sure as to why she was getting presents.

Candy!!! We are in trouble now!! She has a whole sack full from Nanny and Papa.

I LOVE my husband and daughter and I am so grateful for the LOVE that they both show me!! Nothing better than hearing them both say "I Love you"! I have to say I made out pretty well this Valentines too!!

Disney Live!

We took Laney to Disney Live Friday night and had a great time. Laney of course enjoyed every second of it.. so much that I could not get her to look away to take a good picture.. so needless to say I did not get very many great shots of her. But all that matters is that she enjoyed the show!

More Snow!!

It snowed in Tahoka once again! Luckily this time when it snowed it was on Landon's day off, so we decided to take Laney out and play. She of course has seen the snow, walked in it and also touched it but had not been in it for more than ten minutes. SO it was time for us to actually play in it. Let's just say she LOVED it!!!






Snowball fight! Laney chased Landon and laughed so hard. She thought it was so fun to make snowballs and throw them :)

Play Day ♥

Today we had such a wonderful day! It was Landon's day off so we decided to head to town and take Laney to play at Jumping Jungle. She was so excited.. she kept saying "pay" the whole ride to Lubbock. Laney played her little heart out for almost two hours. She climbed, jumped, ran, laughed, and bounced. She found a couple friends to play with and chased them around the whole time. We will definitely have to make more trips to Jumping Jungle.






Laney stood there for a while trying to figure out how she was going to get up those steps to slide... it didn't take her but a few times to try and she did it! Soo big!




Passed out within five minutes of being in the car on the ride home :)



We are planning on having her Birthday party at Jumping Jungle since she had a blast! Only 3 months away!! Details to come :)

Landon and Laney have been fighting a cold over the past week and I was starting to think that I was the lucky one that didnt catch it... but nope I woke up this morning coughing, a sore throat and sooo drowsy. Yuck! Not fun at all. Hopefully we will get over all this very soon! Poor Laney has had the hardest time sleeping lately because she is cutting two teeth on the bottom (the sharpest ones) and also has a horrible cough to top it all off. Luckily she took a super long nap yesterday, which was so nice for me but also something her body needed.

Hopefully we all get to feeling better soon.. we have a busy busy few weeks ahead of us! Super Bowl party with the youth, Sunday School Breakfast, Disney Live and Movie night with the youth!! Lots to look forward too!!
