10 Year Anniversary!!

I don't know about you, but I think 10 years is a huge milestone! It has flown by and has been the best years of my life. Landon and I started dating Junior year in High School.  We have been through so much. Everything from several Proms, Highschool, Dates, Our Wedding, Moving (several times), Kids, more Dates, to New jobs. But every single moment has been worth it. Happy to Sad, Laughs to Crys but I wouldn't have it any other way. I am beyond blessed and thank God daily for the husband, daddy, son, brother and friend he is to us all. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this guy! Amazing how the bond and love can continue the grow the way it does.

Here is our first picture ever taken together!! Landon's buddy, Joseph, told Landon he needed to start going to church with him because there were hot girls there. So, he started going and that is when we met and started dating and the rest is history :) (We look like babies)
Junior Year in High School - 2001

We are leaving on a cruise with some friends this week to celebrate our aniversary but also thought we would take advantage Friday night and celebrate!! We went to the new Steak 42 and it was amazing!!! I really think that was the best Filet Mignon I have ever had. We will defintley be going back. It was delish!!!

After dinner we headed to the Wagner Noel.

I am so incredibly blessed I can call you mine and look forward to many more years to come! Love you babe!!

Easter 2015!

We had a wonderful Easter! Tons of family time, great food, egg hunts and way to much candy! But most importantly celebrated Christ's death and resurrection. I love that the kids are full of questions on what the holiday's are all about. Gives us all a reminder of why we really celebrate.

Every year we go to Hill park and Easter egg hunt. They have all kinds of fun activities for the kids to do.  It was a chilly morning but luckily the weekend warmed up!

We had lots of time with Aunt Chelsea, Uncle Jeremy and cousin Jhett :) We took them to check out our new Grub Burger!!

We have a family tradition that we all go to church together on Sunday morning. I love taking up a whole row in church :) So blessed by each and every one of them!!

We had a great afternoon of egg hunts, smoked ribs and time outside.

Life is wasted if we do not grasp the glory of the cross, cherish it for the treasure that it is, and cleave to it as the highest price of every pleasure and the deepest comfort in every pain. What was once foolishness to us—a crucified God—must become our wisdom and our power and our only boast in this world.

T-Ball :)

Our little Kipton is in his element. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES t-ball!!!  I might be a little biased but that little boy is an awesome athlete. He loves to run, loves to throw balls and has gotten super good at hitting them too.

Here are a few pictures of his friends that we were so lucky to get on the same team as and a few of their first practices.
His daddy has been so good with helping him practice :)
Kipton's buddies from school!!! Dax and Hudsyn :)
This was at our meet and greet team meeting. Kipton's wrestling buddy, Mason. They love to wrestle, then when they are finished they stand up and hug. It is the sweetest ;)

Here are a few pictures from Kipton's first t-ball game. Games are two times a week, and practice is once a week! Two months of craziness but pure bliss!

Best Daddy!!!

From the first time we saw the previews for the upcoming Cinderalla movie, Laney has been counting down the days until it came out. Landon asked Laney if she wanted to go with him to see it, and of course that was a YES! She seriously talked about the movie and her date with her dad for months.

A week before her date, Laney and I headed out to search for the perfect dress. This was actually hard! We searched for several days, seemed like every place in town. But we ended up finding the perfect dress!!!
~side note~ Landon surprised me with a date last year, and bought me a dress and heels,  and the dress Laney and I found matched the dress he bought me. So I just knew he would love this one :)

Date day finally comes, and we went and got Laney's toes and nails done.

Landon and Kipton left the house when Laney was getting ready and her dad left her the sweetest note. It told her to be ready by 6 pm and he told her how excited he was to get to spend time with her and how much she meant to him.

Make-up time! Laney begs me all the time to put make-up on her, so she loved this part. She picked out her eye shadow color, blush color, and even got to wear one of my new lip stains.

Doorbell rings at 6 pm, and Kipton was standing there with flowers for his mommy.

Then Landon rings the doorbell with flowers for his princess. And off they went. They went to Outback and to the movies to see Cinderalla.

Kipton came down with some sort of throat infection that morning, so we picked up his prescription, ran to eat at Taco Villa (his favorite place), then ran to a few stores to pick out new bedding for his big boy bed his daddy built.

This is how our date was. LOL. Kipton didn't feel good, and he had just spilled the whole thing of ketchup down his leg and all over his foot. So here is our date picture. Ha!!

But he was excited to have a new big boy bed that his daddy built!!!

And his daddy made this for all his toys :) Now all we need is a new dresser to match!

The kids are blessed to have such an awesome Daddy!! We pray that Laney will hold her boyfriends up to as high of a standard as her dad has set.

Life Recently!

We signed our little man up for T-Ball. He is so super pumped. He has been practicing with his daddy and is so ready to start. We should find out this next week, which team he is on. We have requested to be on the same team as three of his lil friends. It is going to be so much fun :) Busy, Busy but fun!!
Studliest lil t-ball player, you ever did see ;)

Valentine's weekend, we packed up and headed to Austin to visit the family. We were excited to see their new home, and explore Austin with them. We had lots of fun and the weather was gorgeous.
They had so much fun together!
Love my Valentine!!
Fun at the park!
Date night in Austin- UT vs Tech basket ball game! My hubby was being a rebel and wearing his Tech shirt :) Guns up :)
Sweet little twinkies!
Let's talk about this crazy weather.... so nice one weekend, then the next snow!! Well, the kids enjoyed a few snows day!

And of course, no snow day is complete without a fire and hot chocolate!
Laney Bug started soccer! She has had a few practices this past week and is gearing up for her first game this season in a few weeks!
Watching Laney from the car at soccer practice. It was a little chilly for us!
Sorry for the very sporatic post ;)
We are enjoying a nice relaxing week, preparing for the crazy, busy (but fun.. I keep telling myself) season ahead!
