It's Fall Ya'll!!!

Wow, it's been awhile since I have last blogged. Let's just say life gets a little crazy :)

We have been super busy with Laney and her like for soccer. She has practice two nights a week and has a game every Saturday. I am super proud of Laney and her team, Galaxy Girls,  they have learned alot this year and have been playing great. They are playing on the "big" fields and even have positions this year.  Landon is assistant coach, so it isn't like we can just skip practices like we did in the past...hehe. She has loved having family and even great friends come and support her by watching her games!
Family pic before Laney's first game..lol
Our socer girl, playing in the rain!
Practice... see that green grass?!? That's what rain will do ;)

Daddies girl!!!
D, our nephew (in a way), came and spent the night with us a few weekends back. Landon and D have really latched on to each other lately and I love seeing the bond between them :) Such a sweet kid! We took pics after church :)

Mommy's boy!!

Landon got the wild hair last weekend and wanted to paint a wall in our house.... so weird.... I am always the one wanting to do things spur of the moment, not him.... And if I remember correctly in our last house we had to paint almost every single room and he said I will never paint another wall again. Anywho, I was all for it. We have all tan walls now, so it was time for a little color. We decided to paint the wall above our fireplace. It was a small project that really didn't take long at all. We actually did it while the kids napped. We tried a faux look and am pleased with the turn out. We also finally broke down and got new couches, the ones we had before were falling to pieces. With new furniture and new paint of course comes a new rug and new decorations :) Crazy how much a little paint can change a whole room!
A pop of color. And check out the big clock on the wall that Landon made for me by using wooden pallets :)
New furniture and new rug. We actually exchanged one of the sofas for a love seat, so it is now actually flush with the wall and doesn't hang over. We should have taken measurements before ordering..ha. Lesson learned!

Friday night we were invited out with some of our dear friends on a double date. We tried out the new Bill's Bistro, that is apart of the wine rack. We had so much fun and the food was amazing. It's always fun to see Landon and Jojo act crazy and remenice on the good ole days ;) My mom offered to watch the kids, and Aunt Mammie was in town so the kids of course had to spend the night. We were so excited to have the whole evening to ourselves. We were in bed by 11:30... old folk right here...lol.
My LOVE!!!
My friend Brandi!!

Love my sister!!! Twinkes ;)

Lot's of new things to come in the Hayes household, hope to fill you all in soon!!!

Last weekend of Summa-time!

Sad that summer time has come to end but a little excited to welcome fuzzy blankets, fire places and the exciting holidays coming up. I have to admit I am more of a summer time girl. I like to go, go, go but can't do that as well when it's freezing outside. Needless to say we took advantage of the last weekend of summer, Memorial weekend and spent it outdoors swimming. Landon's Uncle Ryman was so kind and let us borrow his pool several days. Here are a bunch of pictures to sum up our swimming weekend :)

Isn't this the cutest lil thing.. haha
She is fearless!!
And of course the hubby always has tricks :)

She said watch me.... and did a flip. Scared me to death!!!  Like I said fearless!!!!

We also went to Granny's surprise 75th Birthday party. (Jerry's mom). She was shocked and cried tears of joy.. it was a sweet moment and glad we were apart of it. Here is a sweet pic of the kiddos :)

With Fall.. soccer season started. Laney has practices 2 times a week and her first game is this Saturday. I am still trying to figure out what we will do next season when Kipton gets to start. That means 4 practices a week and 2 games on Saturdays.. holy moly. We will really be going crazy then!!! But I better enjoy it while I can :)
First practice this season!
All boy. He gets to play in the dirt and with sticks and rocks every practice. Can you see the dirt all over his face.... ha!
Here's to enjoying the last few warm days we have and preparing for fall and winter!!

First Grade!

Big things happening around here. Laney started first grade this week. I cannot believe it. I feel like we just skipped right over kindergarten. It seems when you add a second kiddo in the mix it goes even faster. We will blink and have both kids in school soon... eeek!

We went to meet the teacher on Monday. We requested Laney to have Mrs. Power because my mom happens to know her and goes to church with her. There is only 3 first grade teachers at Pease so it is easy to get your requests filled. She is a super duper sweet lady, so we were super pumped for Laney to get the year with her.

Leading up to meet the teacher Laney wasn't ready to go back to school. We had her at Miller's gym during the summer. She swam every Tuesday, visited the museum, went to the movie theaters and even a few trips to Mr. Gattis (gag). Needless to say she had a fun summer. Not to mention the tons of trampoline and gymnastic time she got there. After leaving meet the teacher she was excited and ready to start right away ;) I have to admit that Landon and I were ready for her to start as well.. Miller's was like paying for daycare all over again but just more... boo.
Our little First Grader :)

Just a family selfie..ha

Her first day of school was yesterday and she had a great day. She pretty much knows all the kids from last year so that was good and a relief for me. Her best friend from last year is in a different class but they still see each other at lunch, recess and p.e.
We took her to a restaurant of her choice (she choose Olive Garden..win win) and ice cream after school so we could hear all about her day.

Love this sweet girl and her love for learning. We are excited to see what this year holds and pray that Laney's words and actions would be encouraging to her friends and teachers and also pray for her teachers that will be pouring into her life.

Younique Conference :)

I had the privledge of attending my first Younique conference a few weekends ago at the Gaylord Texan resort in Grapevine. All I can say is blown away!! I have to admit that I was a little nervous at first. I was going with my cousin, who is also a presenter, but I just didn't quite know what to expect.  I had an incredible time meeting all kinds of girls that I met on facebook but finally getting to meet them in person was so much fun! I can not even describe to you how awesome of a company Younique is. The founder, Derek and his sister, Melanie walked around the whole entire weekend mingling and meeting us all. Derek's wife and chidren were also there running around. An amazing company with real life founders that actually give you the time of the day.
Picture with the founder, Derek within the first 30 minutes of arriving at the resort :)
And a picture with the gorgeous co-founder, Melanie :)
The first night of the conference we had western night. There were 2,000 ladies that joined the conference from all over the world. The farthest traveler coming from Austraila. We enjoyed an amazing evening of BBQ and western line dancing.

The second day we had some amazing speakers, Bill Rancic being one of them (the first canidate hired by Donald Trump). He really did have great motivational words to share with us all.

Younique went all out at this conference. When we checked into our rooms, the clerk handed us our room key and it was a key with the Younique logo on it . Every single employee at the resort was wearing a Younique button. There was also Younique logo's all through the hotel and even shining down on the floors. We felt special needless to say!

My cousin, Megan and I  :)
Saturday evening we had formal night. We got all pretty in our dress and heels. Had a fancy dinner and Derek and Melanie got up on stage and let us in on some amazing things happening within this company.

Coming in 2015 they are starting The Younique Foundation! It is a get away for battered and abused women to come and get support and help they need! This was Derek and his wife's goal to accomplish at the 5 year mark of the company but they are able to start it after only 2 short years because of the fast paced growth! They are using their own profit from Younique to start this!!(since we are %100 debt free!!!!)

When you're at a huge convention with thousands of people & the FOUNDERS on stage say "despite what we've been through, I believe in a BIG GOD & that is the only reason we are here today."

--I know I am exactly where I am supposed to be.... with an Amazing company that has blown me away this weekend in so many ways!!!!

On top of all the amazing things happening within the company they let us in on a secret... we were going to leave convention with over $500 worth of product!!!! Holy moly!!!! And we did. We recieved all the new products that are launching in the fall and they threw in a huge makeup caboodle to top it off!!!

Here are a few pics from the night :)
The new eye serum coming out soon called Uplift :)
Yummy fancy dessert!
My awesome makeup kit!
This was the comedian at the conference.. he was hilarious!!! I cried from laughter every time he stepped on the stage ;)
The new Lash Comb/Brow Brush combo coming out in Sept.
The new lip liners and eye liners coming out in Sept. They are amazing!!
All of our loot we came home with. They told us to bring an extra suit case for all the goodies and they weren't kidding!

Convention is in Chicago next year and I am saving up now!! I for sure don't wanna miss out!!

After a long exhausting weekend, I came home to my house being picked up and a pretty bouquet of flowers picked out all by the kids :) Grateful for my hubby who kept the kids entertained while I played!

Jhetty Boy turns 1!

A few weeks back (4 weekends ago to be exact..where does the time go) we made a trip to Dallas to meet up with my sister, bro in law and precious lil Jhett to celebrate Jhett turning ONE!!  His actual birthday is this week, August 14th but with school approaching and a crazy August we decided we would all meet up and celebrate early!!

We were able to attend a couple of Uncle Jeremy's baseball games that he coaches, which little Kippy loved. The guys went to top golf, while the girls checked out Sam Moons and Charming Charlies. We took the kids to a cool park in the area and had a smash cake party for Jhetty boy and let the kids play. Sunday we made one last stop at the Zoo. We love every moment we get with this sweet boy! Still the best lil guy around!  He was crawling and trying to walk when we met up with them, so Jhett was able to keep up with Laney and Kipton very well. Now he is walking all over the place :) Boy, how they grow up so fast!!!

Sweet cousins!

He wasn't too sure what to do with his cake!
He didn't care to get his hands all dirty!! He was done with his smash cake pretty quickly :)
They all love their Nanny and Papa!
BLESSED to have these two as my sisters!

We love you Jhett! So glad we got to celebrate with you!
