Tyler!

We made the long drive to Tyler last month for my nephew, Jhett's, big TWO year old birthday party. He is such a sweetheart and I am so glad we were able to be there to celebrate him.

His party was at a jump house in Tyler and the kids had a blast.

Jhett LOVES tractors!! Farm boy right here!
Love my Jhetty and I am pretty sure he loves his Aunt Cici!!!!!
No Tyler trip is complete without a tractor ride on Uncle Jeremy's ranch.
Jhett was giving free rides too!
Birthday cupcake for the Birthday boy!!

While the kids and I were having a blast in Tyler, Landon was at home putting down new floors. We left the house with old burbur carpet and came home to wood tile. He has put so much blood, sweat and tears into updating the house. The floors were actually one of the last projects we were going to tackle but this pregnancy nose coudn't take the smell of old carpet anymore.

So thankful for the hard work he has put into the house! It is coming along!!!

Gender Reveal!!

Woah!! Time is flying by in this household and I have fallen way behind on posting. Here is a short recap of our gender reveal ;)

I decided to go ahead and get the blood work to find out what baby #3 is. With this blood test you can find out way sooner the gender. This wasn't an option with Laney or Kipton, but I don't like surprises so we went for it. It took a few weeks to get the results and just as I felt and thought It is a....

BOY!!!  KINGSTON FAIN HAYES!!!
We named Kipton after Landon's grandfather and himself, Wayne, so we thought it was fitting to name Kingston after my grandfather, Fain.

The kids both wanted and thought they were having a baby sister. Kipton has surprised us and is in LOVE with his baby brother already. He is constantly talking about "his" baby and how he loves him. He is always running up to my belly, lifting up my shirt and giving him kisses. It is the sweetest.

They are both super excited and I can't wait to add this little bundle to our family. Laney and Kipton will be the best sister and brother!

This pregnancy has flown by. I had a rough patch there at the beginning. Morning sickness, but luckily it only lasted a few months and only consisted of a yucky tummy. Nothing sounded good to eat but I was starving constantly. Now I am good to go.. thank you Jesus!!

I am 19 weeks now and almost half way there.

Slooooooooow down time!!!!

More Travel!

A few weekends back we headed to Austin to celebrate Parker and Liam's 6th and 3rd Birthday.

The day of the party was my actual birthday. I had to sneak away from helping setting up the parties and headed to Kendra Scott and Super Target. My two favorites.

The kids parties were so much and wore the kids out! Lots of jumping and sliding.

And of course my BIG kid had to join in on the fun before all the kids showed up :)

It is so sweet to see the friendship between Laney and Parker. I hope they stay best friends forever. It is so fun to watch their love grow for each other. Some of my best friends were my cousins as well!

Landon worked super hard on a table he built for Tanner and Jodi. This was his first time dealing with concrete and it defintley had some learning curves. He seriously worked months on this table and I was so happy to see the final product. He built it just in time for the parties and got lots of good feedback from people. He now has a list of 5 or 6 people that want one. (But he has lots to build for me before he starts taking orders..lol. First up... a dresser for Kip, a huge farm house table, and I could go on and on).
Coffee Table with ice chest

We headed out early Sunday morning and took the kids to Sea World. It was super duper hot but we had a blast. (We will keep in mind to go in the Fall next time and not the dead heat of the summer).

That evening we stayed at a hotel we booked with Hotwire and scored Big Time!! We got a room 4 miles from Sea World, The Hyatt Hill Country Resort. We could have stayed there for days. The kids loved the water slide and went down it probably a good 50 times. We also enjoyed the lazy river, hammocks and smores by the fire pit.

Monday we woke up for one more day at Sea World.

We decided this time to buy tickets to "Dine with Shamu". It was so worth the money. They served us an all you can eat buffet and Shamu and his friends were out in the water doing tricks. The kids thought it was so cool. Our table was right up against the pool and we could see so good.

We made that an early day and headed home. So glad we had a fun weekend with family and time away with the kids.

Now happy to have a few weeks in town so that we can do a few updates around the house.

Fourth of July in Dallas!!

My sister that lives in Tyler asked us to come to Dallas for July 4th. They had a wedding to go to on a Thurs evening and needed someone to watch Jhett. How could we decline?!

We packed up and headed out Thurs evening. We had such a fun night. Laney informed Landon and I that this was practice for when we have three kids. Ha!!! Jhett was the best kid ever and we didn't have a single problem! First up, we took the kids to In and Out Burger, then this huge awesome park, and then for some ice cream. So glad we had the evening with him.
I was clearly excited to see my Jhetty!!

The next morning my mom, step dad and nephew Aiden drove down. The guys played Top Golf, while the girls had fun at the outlets.

Kip is going to be just like his daddy and have a LOVE for golf!!

Saturday morning we took the kids to Sea Life and Legoland in Grapevine! There was so much to see and do. We LOVED them both and will defintley be going back.

Happy 4th of July from these cuties!!!!!!!
He just kills me with his cuteness!!!!
They loved the splash pad at Legoland. It is a must!!

We made so many great memories and had such a wonderful time with our family!!!

..And then there were FIVE!!!

We have exciting things happening in the Hayes house. Baby #3 is on the way!!!

Landon and I have been thinking for a while and both agreed that we wanted to add one more lil peanut into the mix but we weren't exactly sure when. We both like the bigger family feel and growing up with two sisters, it makes it so fun. Don't get me wrong, it will be challenging for sure and difficult at times but we are well aware and preparing for just that.

I was a few days late, but funny thing is, I knew a week before that I might be pregnant. I ended up taking a test a few days prior and sure enough, positive. I called Landon at lunch and said, you might want to run home real quick. He knew right away, and said your pregnant. He ran home, I was crying like a baby (it was nerves and shock) and he was laughing and was so, so, so excited. We weren't quite expecting to get pregnant that soon and hadn't decided exactly when we wanted to officially start trying for #3. But all in all we are super excited and know that is was all in God's timing.

We waited a few weeks to tell the kids. We knew once we told them, they would tell everyone they came in contact with. And sure enough that is exactly how it happened. Laney and Kip both spilled the beans a few times. So, we learned quickly that if we were going to be around someone longer than 5 minutes, we better just tell them before they hear it from the kids. lol! They couldn't help it, they are so excited.

Landon went and had a cookie cake made and we told them we had a surprise for them. I have it all on video and it is the cutest thing ever. Laney starts to read the cake and can't even finish before getting the the Baby #3 part, she looked up at us and said how do you know ;)

They were both hoping for twins and there for a little while I was for sure that is what I was having. This pregnancy is so different than the other two.

We had our first appointment yesterday, and it is just ONE baby. Whew!! Everything looks great so far, heartbeat is perfect and we are measuring a few days ahead.

DUE DATE FEB 7TH
We are looking forward to this new season in our life and excited to see if we will be seeing more PINK or more BLUE.

Sweet Summertime!!

It is officially summer!!

We kicked our summer off a few weeks ago and it has been crazy ever since ;)

We have attended the summer lawn concerts (a favorite of ours every summer). A Sunday evening to relax, listen to music, hang with friends, let the kids play and dance and of course eat yummy snowcones.

We had been watching a house we liked since before Christmas but knew that it wasn't the right timing with the way the oil was dropping. Landon had only been with Weatherford a few months and was the newby, so we decided it was best to hold off awhile. A few months back, we noticed the house that we had been watching for quite some time lowered it's price and was still active on the market. We felt that it was the right time and contacted a realtor. We listed our house on the market and it sold in three weeks. Then, we placed an offer of the house we wanted and they accepted. It all happened so fast. Then came the packing and moving part..booo. We are in the house now and are supposed to officially close tomorrow (fingers crossed). The people that are buying our house own a nail business here in town and have lots of cash deposits they are trying to prove to the underwriter. So, assuming that all goes as planned the house is really ours tomorrow :)

We are so excited and have a some work to do.. mainly buying new fixtures (the brass fixtures just aren't cutting it), new countertops and eventually new floors!

We can see this being a forever home and are excited to put our personal touches to it.

With a big yard, Landon is going to need lots of help. Good thing Kip stepped up and lended a hand. lol. The blower was really turned on and he was so proud of himself ;)

We have taken lots of breaks from unpacking to swim. The kids have always been water babies and are so happy to finally have a pool we can use.

We also celebrated Father's Day this weekend! I am beyond blessed and grateful by my hubby. After the first year we have been married I was ready for kids. I had the hardest time convincing Landon. He was so afraid of being a failure of a dad, and not being the dad they needed him to be. After  3 years and 1 month to be exact, we had Laney. I am so glad we waited the time we did... but most importantly I am so glad that Landon wanted to be prepared and is the dad he is today. He had nothing to worry about but that defintley shows the heart he has. Not only is he the best daddy to our kiddos but he is an awesome husband. I love you Landon Loo and I could have not asked for a better Daddy to our kiddos! You mean the world to all of us!!!!!

We also are so blessed to have the dad's that we do in our lives. Our world would not be the same without them. Our kiddos have the best grandpa's that would do anything for them!
