T-Ball :)

Our little Kipton is in his element. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES t-ball!!!  I might be a little biased but that little boy is an awesome athlete. He loves to run, loves to throw balls and has gotten super good at hitting them too.

Here are a few pictures of his friends that we were so lucky to get on the same team as and a few of their first practices.
His daddy has been so good with helping him practice :)
Kipton's buddies from school!!! Dax and Hudsyn :)
This was at our meet and greet team meeting. Kipton's wrestling buddy, Mason. They love to wrestle, then when they are finished they stand up and hug. It is the sweetest ;)

Here are a few pictures from Kipton's first t-ball game. Games are two times a week, and practice is once a week! Two months of craziness but pure bliss!

Kipton #3, Hudsyn #4 and Dax #5
I seriousy cannot get enough of this dude in his babseball pants ;)
This picture says it all!!!! After game face..... he had a blast!!!!
Kip's bestie, Hadlee, came to watch him play. Made his day!

We are so excited to watch our boy have so much fun with his friends, doing exactly what he loves to do :) Yay, for a fun season!

Best Daddy!!!

From the first time we saw the previews for the upcoming Cinderalla movie, Laney has been counting down the days until it came out. Landon asked Laney if she wanted to go with him to see it, and of course that was a YES! She seriously talked about the movie and her date with her dad for months.

A week before her date, Laney and I headed out to search for the perfect dress. This was actually hard! We searched for several days, seemed like every place in town. But we ended up finding the perfect dress!!!
~side note~ Landon surprised me with a date last year, and bought me a dress and heels,  and the dress Laney and I found matched the dress he bought me. So I just knew he would love this one :)

Date day finally comes, and we went and got Laney's toes and nails done.

Landon and Kipton left the house when Laney was getting ready and her dad left her the sweetest note. It told her to be ready by 6 pm and he told her how excited he was to get to spend time with her and how much she meant to him.

Make-up time! Laney begs me all the time to put make-up on her, so she loved this part. She picked out her eye shadow color, blush color, and even got to wear one of my new lip stains.

Doorbell rings at 6 pm, and Kipton was standing there with flowers for his mommy.

Then Landon rings the doorbell with flowers for his princess. And off they went. They went to Outback and to the movies to see Cinderalla.

Kipton came down with some sort of throat infection that morning, so we picked up his prescription, ran to eat at Taco Villa (his favorite place), then ran to a few stores to pick out new bedding for his big boy bed his daddy built.

This is how our date was. LOL. Kipton didn't feel good, and he had just spilled the whole thing of ketchup down his leg and all over his foot. So here is our date picture. Ha!!

But he was excited to have a new big boy bed that his daddy built!!!

And his daddy made this for all his toys :) Now all we need is a new dresser to match!

The kids are blessed to have such an awesome Daddy!! We pray that Laney will hold her boyfriends up to as high of a standard as her dad has set.

Life Recently!

We signed our little man up for T-Ball. He is so super pumped. He has been practicing with his daddy and is so ready to start. We should find out this next week, which team he is on. We have requested to be on the same team as three of his lil friends. It is going to be so much fun :) Busy, Busy but fun!!
Studliest lil t-ball player, you ever did see ;)

Valentine's weekend, we packed up and headed to Austin to visit the family. We were excited to see their new home, and explore Austin with them. We had lots of fun and the weather was gorgeous.
They had so much fun together!
Love my Valentine!!
Fun at the park!
Date night in Austin- UT vs Tech basket ball game! My hubby was being a rebel and wearing his Tech shirt :) Guns up :)
Sweet little twinkies!
Let's talk about this crazy weather.... so nice one weekend, then the next snow!! Well, the kids enjoyed a few snows day!

And of course, no snow day is complete without a fire and hot chocolate!
Laney Bug started soccer! She has had a few practices this past week and is gearing up for her first game this season in a few weeks!
Watching Laney from the car at soccer practice. It was a little chilly for us!
Sorry for the very sporatic post ;)
We are enjoying a nice relaxing week, preparing for the crazy, busy (but fun.. I keep telling myself) season ahead!

Lil Dancer Laney!

Our little girl Laney loves to be in as many activites as possible. Her newest activity is Dance!!  She has played soccer since she was four, then after a few years, she decided she wanted to try swimming so we put her in the COM, then she decided to go back to soccer and now she has decided to give dance a try again. The last time she was in dance was when she was three. I had just started going back to work and she would cry all class for her mommy :( So we pulled her out until she was a little more adapted to our "new" schedule.

So far she has loved it!! She is doing tap and ballet. She has always loved to twirl and spin in the living room. Her favorite thing is talent shows in the living room, so this is perfect for her. Right now we have her in a three month mini session. Once that is over, she wants to still play soccer, then in Sept we can enroll her in a dance class again.
First night back at dance :)
Here are a few pictures of Parent Night where we got to sit in the classroom and see what all she is learning :)

I love that she is wanting to try new things and so blessed that we have been able to let her!!

Kipton starts t-ball in March, and Soccer starts back up in March, so Landon and I are entering into a crazy busy season... as if it isn't already busy enough!!

Here's to many more dance, t-ball and soccer pics :)

~Family Pictures~

We had our pictures taken by Kristyn Rose back in October and I am just now getting to posting a few of my favorites.

We had a mini session that took a whole 10 minutes, and that is no exaggeration. I was a little paranoid that we didn't get any pictures, because we are used to hour long sessions with only a few good ones. But she surprised me and did an awesome job and the kids were great too, despite the freezing weather that morning!

This one is my absolute favorite!! Portrays their relationship so well!!! They love to hug and kiss!!!

Kipton turns "4"

Kipton Wayne, (Bro Bear)

I absolutley can not imagine my life without you. You bring so much joy, laughter, hugs and kisses. You love to make us laugh and you say the funniest things. Your dad and I say all the time that you will be the class clown for sure. Your personality is so funny, sweet and big :) You love your mommy :) So much that if anyone asks for kisses, you say only one because all the rest are my mommies. You even get mad if someone steals more than one because they belong to me :) (I don't ever want that to change..hehe). You love your sissy and daddy tons too. You want to play with your sissy all the time, even if  she is playing with babies or barbies. You love to help daddy in the garage too. Can't wait for yall to do projects together.

Although, you have your sweet and loving side, you are ALL boy!!!! I am talking dirt, toots, boogers, bugs, sticks, rocks, growls and roars. But I wouldn't have you any other way!!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much Kipton Wayne! We know you will do huge things in life.

Love,
Mom

Christmas Time (Part 2)

We ran home and packed our bags and headed to Baird for Christmas with my family. But first a family selfie of course...lol!
These poor babies were wore out. I think they made it through the first 15 minutes of Frozen and were out until we arrived in Baird. Nice and peaceful ride for us :)
When we arrived we had dinner, Santa made a delivery (every year he drops of jammies for everyone), then we opened presents :)
Oh how I adore these precious boys!
Cousin Jhett and Kipton!
LOVE this picture. She sure loves her daddy!!
Leave it to daddy and Kip to act silly :)
The guys made tee times the next day. So the girls went and got pedicures and did some shopping. And of course took some fun pics together!
Have I mentioned how lucky I am to have these two sisters?
Our Memaw and Papaw!!!
The life with sisters.. this picture will always be one of my favorites!
LOVE!
This year was especially special for our family. It has been years since my grandparents have had everyone together all at once. Usually we split up the time. My family these days, then my aunts family the other days. We just have such a large, growing family that there just isnt room. But this year my grandpa rented out the golf course club house in Clyde (where he works at part time for fun) and we had everyone there!! We had lunch, then played games. It was so fun and so very special for my grandparents.
Blessed!!
We headed back to Midland, washed clothes, put up Christmas presents and next up was Christmas with my dad!

I love family time and the hustle and bustle but I was soooooo happy we had an ice storm and were stuck in our pajamas by a cozy fire for four days after that!!! That is just what my soul needed to start off 2015... rest!! (We could have done without all the damaged trees though). We got used to sleeping in until 9 and 10.. and that is no joke.  This momma likes her sleep ;)
Family movie night!!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Many blessings to your family for 2015!!
