After the movie my sister offered to have both kids spend the night with her at my mom's house. Laney spends the night over at my mom's quite often but Kipton has been to little, so is usually left out.. but not this time. We went home packed bags and Landon and I debated on what in the world shall we do.. no kids all night?!? We went had a few drinks, then went and stayed up till 2:00 in the morning at our friends house in the back yard. It was so nice and relaxing! We were so thankful for that sweet little surprise of alone time and catching up with our friends without having to worry about bed time :) This picture was actually taken Saturday ;)

Our Weekend Fun!
We started off our weekend by taking the kids to see Despicable Me 2. This was Kipton's first time in a real movie theatre, so I wasn't too sure on how well he would do. I packed his bag with all kinds of snacks, a full sippy cup and put him in a pull up (even though he is potty trained.. I really just didn't want to get up 3 times during the movie because he needed to go.. call it lazy if you will. ha). We had such a great time. The movie was so funny and kept both kids laughing the whole time. After I cut Kipton off the popcorn (seriously 6 cups full), he starting to get a little restless, so we pulled out the candy. We survived and I am actually looking forward to the next movie with the kiddos. Whew!!
Saturday we went and celebrateed Parker and Liam's birthdays! The kids had a blast at the Pirate and Mermaid party. The kids are so grateful for sweet time with their cousins. We are not looking forward to them moving to Houston ;(

It's about time!!!!!!!
Hi, it's me again! Long time no blog!! Well life is pretty busy with two kiddos as most of you probably already know. We have had birthdays, events, vacations, springs, summers and winters and I have failed to blog about any of them. I hope to do better and hopefully I can remember how to even make a blog post.. ha!
Hopefully I can post some pics and keep up with this blog so that I have it to look back on one day.

Pinterest- 1st project!
So, I like many others have become addicted to Pinterest. I love that it gets me in the crafty mood (even though I am not a crafty person at all). I found a quick, easy and cheap project on the website and thought (with Landon's help) we could get it done this past weekend. I dug up alot of old frames I had boxed up in the garage, spray painted them white, bought a letter H ($4 at Micheals), then hung them in our master bedroom. Such an easy and fast way for a fun new decoration and it only cost me $8, can't beat that!!

and here's a close up!

One PROUD Mama :)
My little dancer started her first day at Art and Soul Studio today. Laney talks about dance all day long and wants to wear her dance clothes daily. She was ecstatic to find out we were starting dance back up. We took a mommy and me dance class last year (when she was 2) and she loved it, so we knew that we had to continue her in dance.
Here are a few pictures of her first day in the 3 year old class, Little Leapers.
A new hair do I tried for her first day.. got the idea from pinterest :)
After class her teacher, Mrs. Brenda, asked if Laney had danced before because she followed directions so well and was very good. She went on to say that she might have to move Laney up to the advanced 4-5 year old class. Talk about one proud Mama :)
AND.. just for fun here is a picture from last years first day of dance.. at 2 years old. My how time flies!

Sweet cousins!
We enjoyed spending time with precious Parker the last few days. Laney really loved having her cousin around to do fun things with and best of all she even got to spend the night with us.
Bath time together. (even Kipton joined the fun)
Fun at the park.
Headed to the Rockhounds baseball game.
We are so grateful for the fun times we had with Parker.

Honesty of a 3 year old!
I have been teaching Laney a bible verse a week and also doing a little craft to go along with the verse. This week she learned,
Be thankful in all things. 1 Thes. 5:18. I asked her to tell me some things she is thankful for and this is what she said:
1) Being a Princess {she seriously thinks this is her other name. ha}
2) Jesus
3) Daddy
4) Daddy being home {in other words for his new job that puts him at home a tons more}
5) Being me
6) Being a girl
and last but not least
7) sisters. {she doesn't have a sister, so not too sure where this came from...maybe she is saying she is tankful for herself :)}
I thought her some of her answers were so sweet and others hilarious. I had no influence in any of these answers because of course MY name would have been up there..lol. But I really do love the honesty of my precious 3 year old! I wouldn't change her for the world.

4 months old.. lost most of hair and packing on more pounds.
5 months old. Blonde peach fuzz with alot more pounds :)
6 months old. Chunky little guy!
Kipton, You will always be mommy and daddy's little chunky guy. We love every little grin, every little roll and every little thing about you! Please don't grow up too fast! We love you so much!

Stovall/McLeod Wedding ♥ 07/16/11
My sister did it, she got married (not that I ever had any doubt that she would find the man of her dreams)! Her wedding was perfect, waaayy hot but it was so gorgeous! She was married by my hubby at the Belgium House Mansion in Longview, TX. It was so green and the Mansion was so beautiful, inside and out. I am so proud of the women my sister has become and so happy to have Jeremy in our lives now, he is going to be a wonderful husband for her and she will make a great wife. I wish them many wonderful years ahead and I am so happy that my family was apart of their big day!
See how gorgeous?!?!? Green, Green, Green, I loved it!!
Landon performing the wedding :)
My family!
And more family!
My precious little flower girl. This picture says it all, Laney stopped on the way down the aisle because the ring bearer behind her was pushing her, so she stopped and pouted (as you can tell in the picture), she was not going at a fast enough speed for him. But as soon as she stuck her lip out for about 30 seconds, threw her basket down, she decided she wasn't going to let him get to her so she picked up her basket and she kept on coming...thank goodness... we only practiced going down the aisle for months..lol!!!
Bridesmaids with my beautiful sis!
Love them!
Laney and the Ring Bearer, Evan, became great dancing buddies the rest of the afternoon!
Congrats Mr. And Mrs. McLeod! We love you both very much!
